Services like DoorDash are great, aren’t they? You just open an app, place your order and someone brings food from pretty much any nearby restaurant right to your door. You have to admit that DoorDash is pretty great, and it’s so darn convenient!

Can You Make It At Home?
The real question you need to ask yourself is whether you can make food at home and save money. For some people, the answer is no, but for most people, if you really get honest with yourself, the answer is yes.
Of course, making food at home yourself means you need to shop for ingredients, and there is a bit of planning and preparation that goes into making your meals. You are, however, almost guaranteed to save money. You might even feel healthier as well.
Do You Really Have to Quit DoorDash Entirely?
While you can certainly save money by making your meals, do you really have to quit using DoorDash entirely to hold onto your cash? Well, the truth is that it depends. If you’re the type of person who relies on DoorDash for everything, you might need to take a total break for a while to get used to making your food.
If, on the other hand, you only use these services occasionally, you might be able to moderate your usage by simply cutting out every other time you would normally use DoorDash. This way, you can still enjoy the convenience when needed, but you aren’t relying on DoorDash for as many meals.
